Dolly Parton returns to public eye to celebrate opening day at Dollywood     Dolly Parton made her first public appearance in months to celebrate the opening day of Dollywood in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, on Friday. The country music icon reflected on the past year, a year after the death of her husband of nearly 60 years, Carl Dean, saying she is “doing good” and has been working to rebuild herself spiritually, emotionally, and physically after grieving and dealing with health issues that kept her from touring. Joined on stage by Dollywood president Eugene Naughton, Parton brought her trademark humor to the crowd, joking about rumors of a new husband while reaffirming her devotion to Dean. A 78-YEAR-OLD TEXAS WOMAN WAS FEEDING DUCKS IN THE PARK WHEN SHE FELL VICTIM TO A VICIOUS GOOSE ATTACK. (PHOTO).

A 78-year-old Texas woman was feeding ducks in the park when she fell victim to a vicious goose attack.

A Texas woman was enjoying the day at the City Lake Park in Royse City on Monday when an unexpected attack sent her to the Dallas Trauma Center with multiple injuries.

As part of her daily routine, Mrs. West feeds the ducks in the park, however, on this day, a gaggle of geese decided they deserved all of the food.

The geese quickly became ultra aggressive and began to attack Mrs. West for the food. The goose attack caused her to fall hard on the ground where the geese continued their attack.

Fortunately, a couple walking in the park witnessed the attack. They were able to run the geese off before calling 911.

Mrs. West ultimately suffered multiple breaks to her pelvis and internal bleeding. Her son  David West has reported his mother has a long road to recovery. She will require extensive physical therapy and have to re-learn how to walk after the incident.

This just confirms my theory, yet again, that geese are the bullies of lakes.
