 Dolly Parton returns to public eye to celebrate opening day at Dollywood     Dolly Parton made her first public appearance in months to celebrate the opening day of Dollywood in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, on Friday. The country music icon reflected on the past year, a year after the death of her husband of nearly 60 years, Carl Dean, saying she is “doing good” and has been working to rebuild herself spiritually, emotionally, and physically after grieving and dealing with health issues that kept her from touring. Joined on stage by Dollywood president Eugene Naughton, Parton brought her trademark humor to the crowd, joking about rumors of a new husband while reaffirming her devotion to Dean. She also shared updates on her ongoing projects, including a new Broadway musical and her Dolly’s Life of Many Colors Museum in Nashville. AN ELDERLY TEXAS COUPLE WHO WENT MISSING AFTER VISITING FRIENDS FOR THANKSGIVING WERE FOUND DECEASED IN A PASTURE.(PHOTO).

 An Elderly Texas couple who went missing after visiting friends for Thanksgiving were found deceased in a pasture.


82-year-old Charles "Gary" Lightfoot and his wife Linda Lightfoot, spent their Thanksgiving with friends in the Texas Panhandle. When the couple left at approximately 3:00 p.m. in their silver Toyota Camry, no one could have guessed they would never be seen alive again.


When the couple failed to return to their Lubbock, Texas, home friends and family grew increasingly concerned. Eventually, the two were reported missing, and a Silver Alert was activated. 


Charles and Linda were believed to be in immediate danger due to Charles requiring oxygen and neither one of them having a cellphone.


Friends and family would have their hopes for a safe recovery lifted when license plate readers picked up their vehicle in two different locations in New Mexico.


However, those hopes were crushed when authorities delivered the worst possible news on Tuesday, December 2nd. The bodies of Charles and Linda were sadly discovered near their car in a pasture in a very rural area of New Mexico.


Authorities believe both passed away as a result of hypothermia
