 Catholic priest reportedly klled in Kogi  A Catholic priest, Rev. Fr. Samuel Opeyemi Oyetoro, has been reportedly killed by unknown assailants in Ajaokuta, Kogi State. According to reports, the priest was stabbed multiple times along Ajaokuta road on Wednesday, 29th July 2026. His body was found dumped at the roadside.  Rev. Fr. Oyetoro was born in Egbe, Yagba West Local Government Area of Kogi State and a native of Ayetoro in Ijumu Local Government Area.  Until his death, he served as a priest at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Egbe.  Anthony Joshua Involves in Road Crash, Two Allegedly Die


Ogun State Police Command has confirmed that World heavyweight Boxing Star Anthony Joshua has been involved in a road crash along Lagos Abeokuta Expressway this Monday along the Lagos Ibadan Expressway in Makun area of Ogun State


The statement says the vehicle conveying  Joshua, a Lexus Jeep with the number plate, KRD 850 HN, reportedly collided with a stationary truck under circumstances that are still being investigated.


It was reported that Anthony Joshua sustained minor injuries while two people were feared dead.


The statement adds that  the accident occurred just before Danco Filling Station in Makun, before the Sagamu Interchange inward Ibadan axis of the road.


Ogun State Police Public Relations Officer DSP Oluseyi Babaseyi also states that Anthony Joshua and other injured persons have been rushed to the hospital for prompt medical intervention.


The command promises to give updates on the matter.
