Nollywood actress Doris Ogala has made fresh allegations against Pastor Chris Okafor, urging the Department of State Services (DSS) to through investigate his church, Grace Nation international, AKA Liberation City.
Speaking during a recent interview, Doris claimed that the authorities should examine the church premises closely, including the altar and pulpit area.
She referenced an incident during the construction of the church when part of the structure allegedly collapsed, resulting in a fatality.
She further alleged that a blogger later discovered something unusual at the site and that Pastor Okafor allegedly contacted the individual, asking for guidance on how to handle the situation.
According to her, these incidents raise serious questions that, in her view, warrant a thorough security investigation.
She maintained that a detailed probe of the church property would reveal information she believes has remained hidden.
Recall that the public controversy between Doris Ogala and Pastor Chris Okafor erupted when the wedding bells of the pastor and Pearl(now Mrs. Okafor) rang.
The saga began with Doris Ogala accusing the cleric of breaking their 8-9years relationship to marry another woman, claiming that she was in a relationship with Pastor Okafor since 2017.
She alleged that he pressured her into leaving her former husband with a promise of marrying her, only for him to now announce plans to marry another woman.
She also accused him of possessing and sharing her private "sex video" with third parties, including legal counsel, and therefore, linked her emotional breakdown, past miscarriage (which she claimed the pastor labeled an "abortion"), and the death of her younger brother to the trauma of the relationship.
Amidst all these, Pst. Okafor went ahead with his wedding plans and got married to Pearl on Tuesday, December 16, 2025, despite Ogala’s public threats to disrupt the ceremony.
Following the pastor's wedding, Ogala issued a formal legal demand through her lawyers, demanding ₦1 billion in damages for emotional, reputational, and psychological harm, giving Chris Okafor 21 days ultimatum from the letter's receipt to pay the sum or face further legal action.
