Edo State Law Reform Commission Seeks EFCC Support

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC,  has reiterated its willingness to collaborate with relevant stakeholders in the discharge of its duties. The Benin Acting Zonal Director,  Deputy Commander of the Commission,  DCE Sa'ad Hanafi Sa'ad stated this on Tuesday December 9, 2025 when he received members of the Edo State Law Reform Commission who paid him a Courtesy Visit.

"One of our core values is collaboration.  The others are integrity, professionalism and courage.  So we believe that through collaboration we can achieve much more than doing it alone. So if there are areas you need us,  you can count on us as an institution."

Earlier,  Chairman of Edo State Law Reform Commission,  Osikhena Donald  revealed that he  recently assumed office and that the visit was part of his familiarization visit to law enforcement agencies domiciled in the state as he sets out to discharge his duties of reforming the laws of the state. "As we commence our work, we felt it was important that we interface with the key personnel of law enforcement agencies in the state for effective collaboration."
