AU urges de-escalation as fighting displaces over 180,000 in South Sudan’s Jonglei state The Chairperson of the African Union Commission called for immediate de-escalation and strict adherence to South Sudan’s 2018 peace agreement, as renewed fighting in Jonglei State displaced more than 180,000 people and raised fears of further civilian harm. In a statement, African Union Commission Chairperson Mahmoud Ali Youssouf said he was deeply concerned by the deteriorating security situation in parts of the country, particularly Jonglei, where escalating violence and inflammatory rhetoric have put civilians—including women and children—at heightened risk. South Sudanese authorities estimate the number of displaced in Jonglei at more than 180,000, the United Nations humanitarian agency OCHA said last week.   Former Managers of 2Face Idibia Accuse New Wife Natasha Osawaru of Drug Abuse, Violence, and Financial Control

Two former managers of legendary Nigerian singer Innocent “2Face” Idibia have publicly appealed to Nigerians to “save” the artist, leveling serious allegations against his new wife, Natasha Osawaru Idibia, an Edo State lawmaker.

In an explosive interview with media personality Daddy Freeze, one of the ex-managers, identified only as Kaka, claimed that both 2Face and Natasha have been engaged in substance abuse. Kaka further alleged that Natasha has deliberately stifled the singer’s career and personal growth in a bid to keep him under her control.

The former managers also accused Natasha Osawaru of physical violence against 2Face, stating that they personally witnessed multiple incidents in which she attacked him.

Additionally, the duo claimed that Natasha now exclusively controls 2Face’s finances, effectively cutting off access to longtime associates and staff.

The allegations surfaced just hours after a video emerged online showing the Afrobeats icon being arrested by police in the United Kingdom following an alleged altercation with Natasha in a London shop. Details surrounding the arrest remain unconfirmed at the time of this report.

Neither 2Face Idibia nor Natasha Osawaru Idibia has issued an official response to the claims made by the former managers.
