 Catholic priest reportedly klled in Kogi  A Catholic priest, Rev. Fr. Samuel Opeyemi Oyetoro, has been reportedly killed by unknown assailants in Ajaokuta, Kogi State. According to reports, the priest was stabbed multiple times along Ajaokuta road on Wednesday, 29th July 2026. His body was found dumped at the roadside.  Rev. Fr. Oyetoro was born in Egbe, Yagba West Local Government Area of Kogi State and a native of Ayetoro in Ijumu Local Government Area.  Until his death, he served as a priest at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Egbe. Governor Kefas Agbu has formally received his All Progressives Congress (APC) membership card, marking a notable moment in his political journey.


The card was presented by Hon. Umaru Tanko, Chairman of the APC Hospital Ward in Wukari Local Government Area of Taraba State.

The governor expressed appreciation for the warm reception and support shown by party executives and members across Taraba State, describing the welcome as encouraging and heartfelt.
