Marilyn Manson's sexual assault case by former assistant reinstated under new California law A previously dismissed sexual assault case against Marilyn Manson, filed by former assistant Ashley Walters, was revived Monday in Los Angeles Superior Court under a new California law extending the statute of limitations for certain sexual abuse claims. Judge Steve Cochran granted Walters’ motion for reconsideration, vacating his December 2025 ruling that had dismissed the case and allowing it to proceed toward trial. The original suit, first filed in 2021, accused Manson, whose legal name is Brian Warner, of sexual harassment, sexual battery, intentional infliction of emotional distress, and wrongful termination based on her time working for him in 2010–2011. Previous attempts to move the case forward were blocked because the claims were made years after the alleged incidents, with courts initially ruling that the delayed discovery doctrine did not apply.  Netanyahu to meet Trump on Gaza December 29, spokesperson says

  Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is scheduled to meet U.S. President Donald Trump on December 29 to discuss the next steps in implementing the Gaza ceasefire, an Israeli government spokesperson confirmed Monday.

Netanyahu previously stated that the meeting would focus on the second phase of a U.S. plan to end the conflict in Gaza. A ceasefire between Israel and Hamas has been in place since October, but both sides have accused each other of violations, and significant issues remain unresolved. Key topics expected to be addressed include Hamas disarmament, governance in post-war Gaza, and the structure and mandate of an international security force in the enclave.

“The Prime Minister will meet with President Trump on Monday, December 29. They will discuss the future steps and phases, as well as the international stabilization force of the ceasefire plan,” spokesperson Shosh Bedrosian said during an online briefing.

Netanyahu’s office noted that Trump extended the invitation on December 1, and Israeli media reports suggest the meeting may take place in Florida.

 Tinubu announces arrival of 4 US attack helicopters President Bola Tinubu has stated that four attack helicopters will soon arrive in the country from the United States amid rising insecurity. Speaking at a meeting with a delegation of the Christian Association of Nigeria, led by its President, Archbishop Daniel Okoh, at his Lagos residence, on Friday, Dec. 26, Tinubu revealed that the Federal Government had ordered four attack helicopters from the U.S, adding that they will arrive in the country “soon”.
