  DEVELOPING STORY: Man Found Unconscious After Allegedly Throwing Children From Storey Building in Aba A man was reportedly found unconscious but still breathing after allegedly falling from a storey building at New Phase of Umuobe by Barracks, Opobo Road, Obignwa, Abia State. The incident, which occurred on Thursday, has caused panic among residents of the area. Eyewitnesses told Magic FM Aba that the man allegedly threw two of his children from the building before attempting to throw down his wife. However, the circumstances surrounding the incident remain unclear. The two children were reportedly rushed to a hospital for medical attention. As of the time of filing this report, Magic FM Aba could not independently confirm their condition or whether they survived the fall. The man, who sustained an injury to the head, was still lying in front of his house and had yet to receive assistance as of the time of this report.  Olukoyede Charges Nigerians on Love, Light and hope at Christmas


The Executive Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, Mr. Ola Olukoyede has called on Nigerians to embrace the values of love, light and hope which Christ exemplifies and move the nation forward on the strength of those values.


He gave the charge in Abuja on Wednesday, December 24, 2025, in a Christmas Message to the nation.  According to him, “Nigeria needs the refreshing hope, love and light which Christ brought to the entire world”  He enjoined Nigerians to join hands together to make the nation greater and more respected in the comity of nations. 


“Let’s join hands together to make our nation greater, stronger and richer.  Corruption is a drawback. We should confront it more fiercely to allow the abundant life of God manifest in our nation”.


He also tasked Nigerians to embrace the Renewed Hope agenda of President Bola Tinubu and allow the agenda ignite stronger hope of greater Nigeria in them.  “Let the Renewed Hope agenda of Mr. President ignite fresh hopes of revival in us that Nigeria will rise again”, he said.
