 Republic of Congo holds presidential election, internet disruption reported Internet connectivity across the Republic of Congo was disrupted on Sunday as voters cast ballots in a presidential election, global internet watchdog NetBlocks said. Network data indicated a nation-scale disruption to internet access, the watchdog said on X. A similar near-total nationwide internet blackout was recorded during the country’s March 2021 presidential election, lasting about three days, according to NetBlocks. Polls opened at 6 am (0500GMT) in the country’s presidential election and will remain open until 6 pm (1700GMT). More than 2.6 million registered voters aged 18 and above are eligible to cast their ballots. Ralph Lauren reveals Team USA uniforms for Olympic ceremonies


Team USA will make a stylish entrance and exit at the 2026 Milan Cortina Olympics, sporting new uniforms unveiled by Ralph Lauren for the Opening and Closing Ceremonies. This marks the brand’s 10th consecutive Olympics as the official outfitter for U.S. athletes.

For the Opening Ceremony at Milan’s San Siro Stadium, Team USA will wear an all-white ensemble featuring a wool coat with wooden toggles, a wool American flag turtleneck sweater, and wool trousers. The Closing Ceremony look at Verona Arena is more colorful, inspired by vintage ski racing kits, and includes a color-blocked puffer jacket, a patriotic wool sweater, and white utility pants. Both uniforms are completed with intarsia knit hats and mittens, leather belts, and suede alpine boots, all manufactured in the U.S.

The Ralph Lauren Team USA Collection will be available for purchase starting December 4 at select Ralph Lauren stores, department stores, and online. The collection offers apparel and accessories for men, women, and children, including leather shearling jackets with Team USA embroidery, statement sweaters, puffer jackets, printed fleece outerwear, and hockey-inspired pieces.
