 GOVERNOR UBA APPRECIATES PRESIDENT TINUBU ON THE AWARD OF STRATEGIC CONTRACTS WORTH  ₦1.178 TRILLION IN KADUNA STATE   Kaduna State governor has extended appreciation to President Tinubu, and the Federal Executive Council for the approval and award of transformative infrastructure contracts that will indelibly reshape the economic and social landscape of the state.   The statement personally signed by the governor lists the projects as follows; the Kaduna Light Rail Project an ambitious undertaking spanning a Kilometers corridor from Rigachikun to Sabon Tasha, alongside a Kilometers line from Millennium City to Rigasa, forming a 50-kilometre metropolitan network with an estimated value of One Trillion Naira. Complementing this is the critical reconstruction of the Mando–Kaduna– Birnin Gwari road, a 122-kilometre artery valued at ₦178 billion. CAR THEFT: Police Thwart Criminal Theft Attempt of a Toyota Hilux Vehicle Within Bauchi Metropolitan. 


On 5th January, 2026 at about 0630hrs, one Buhari Musa Umar, a member of Bauchi Emirate Council reported to a patrol team drafted at Jos road roundabout Bauchi that an unknown person stole the Emirate's Toyota Hilux parked in Inkiya Filling Station to buy fuel and headed to unknown destination. 


The driver narrated that, he was heading to Ganjuwa LGA of the State to disburse Emir's messages when he was excused to ease himself. Unfortunately, an unknown individual stole the Hilux to an unknown destination. 


Upon receipt of the report, the patrol team quickly chased the suspect, recovered the stolen vehicle around Bayan Gari area and arrested the suspect. 


During interrogation, the suspect confessed to having committed the alleged criminal offence. 


Investigation is still on, after which the suspect will be profiled and charged to court upon its completion.

Innoson Gives Out Brand New IVM G5 and Salary For Life To The Man Who Prophesied About His Vehicle Manufacturing In 1979.  Last Saturday, July 22nd the Chairman of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company Ltd, Chief Dr Innocent Ifediaso Chukwuma OFR gave out a brand new Innoson IVM G5 to Mr Ikechukwu Osakwe popularly known as Osabros who prophesied to him in 1979 that he would be the first man in Africa to manufacture vehicles and sell to different African countries.  The prophecy was given at the period the then Innocent Chukwuma could not boast of a car, talk less of manufacturing one.
