  DEVELOPING STORY: Man Found Unconscious After Allegedly Throwing Children From Storey Building in Aba A man was reportedly found unconscious but still breathing after allegedly falling from a storey building at New Phase of Umuobe by Barracks, Opobo Road, Obignwa, Abia State. The incident, which occurred on Thursday, has caused panic among residents of the area. Eyewitnesses told Magic FM Aba that the man allegedly threw two of his children from the building before attempting to throw down his wife. However, the circumstances surrounding the incident remain unclear. The two children were reportedly rushed to a hospital for medical attention. As of the time of filing this report, Magic FM Aba could not independently confirm their condition or whether they survived the fall. The man, who sustained an injury to the head, was still lying in front of his house and had yet to receive assistance as of the time of this report.  Defence Minister Meets Veteran Missionary Peter Fretheim In Jos


The Honourable Minister of Defence, General Christopher Gwabin Musa (rtd), hosted veteran missionary and humanitarian Peter Fretheim at his residence in Jos.


During the visit, Fretheim offered prayers for the Minister, seeking guidance and strength in his role overseeing Nigeria’s defence and security.


Peter Fretheim has worked in Nigeria for over 28 years through SIM ECWA, focusing on humanitarian programs in Jos and surrounding communities. 


His work includes supporting orphans, widows, individuals affected by leprosy, and other vulnerable groups.


He has also documented his experiences through writing and continues to engage in community development initiatives.


General Musa, a retired military officer, has held several key positions in the Nigerian Armed Forces and currently serves as Minister of Defence.


The meeting reflects ongoing interactions between government officials and individuals involved in humanitarian and religious activities, highlighting collaboration and shared interest in national development.
