 Dolly Parton returns to public eye to celebrate opening day at Dollywood     Dolly Parton made her first public appearance in months to celebrate the opening day of Dollywood in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, on Friday. The country music icon reflected on the past year, a year after the death of her husband of nearly 60 years, Carl Dean, saying she is “doing good” and has been working to rebuild herself spiritually, emotionally, and physically after grieving and dealing with health issues that kept her from touring. Joined on stage by Dollywood president Eugene Naughton, Parton brought her trademark humor to the crowd, joking about rumors of a new husband while reaffirming her devotion to Dean. She also shared updates on her ongoing projects, including a new Broadway musical and her Dolly’s Life of Many Colors Museum in Nashville.  MAYOR OF AGUATA LGA COMMISSIONS DOCTORS’ QUARTERS BUILT BY EJIAMATU AGE GRADE, AMANASAA, UMUCHU


The Mayor of Aguata Local Government Area Council, Dr. Chibueze Ofobuike, joined Ejiamatu Age Grade, Amanasaa, Umuchu to commission the newly completed Doctors’ Quarters Building Complex at Visitation Hospital, Umuchu.


While commissioning the project, Dr. Ofobuike commended the Ejiamatu Age Grade for placing Umuchu first through their selfless commitment to community development. He praised their vision, unity, and sense of responsibility, noting that the project would greatly enhance healthcare delivery by providing decent accommodation for medical personnel and encouraging doctors to live closer to their place of service.


The Mayor described the initiative as a shining example of what purposeful leadership and collective effort can achieve, urging other age grades and community groups in the entire local government area to emulate the Ejiamatu Age Grade’s dedication to sustainable development and public welfare.
