 Catholic priest reportedly klled in Kogi  A Catholic priest, Rev. Fr. Samuel Opeyemi Oyetoro, has been reportedly killed by unknown assailants in Ajaokuta, Kogi State. According to reports, the priest was stabbed multiple times along Ajaokuta road on Wednesday, 29th July 2026. His body was found dumped at the roadside.  Rev. Fr. Oyetoro was born in Egbe, Yagba West Local Government Area of Kogi State and a native of Ayetoro in Ijumu Local Government Area.  Until his death, he served as a priest at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Egbe.  Peter Obi made Anambra people pay Excessive Taxes including Poor Anambra Market Women, when he was Governor. Today, The Same Obi Accuses President Tinubu of Taxing Poverty- Reno Omokri 


Newly appointed Ambassador, Reno Omokri has criticized the former governor of Anambra, Mr Peter Obi over his statements about the current tax reform by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.


Reno Omokri posted a video of an alleged protest by Anambra market women that was recording in 2013 when Peter Obi was still governor of Anambra. Below is the caption Reno used for the video which he posted on his official Facebook account.

A careful attention to the video posted by Reno revealed that the women were protesting against a levy that the state government made compulsory for market women that own a shop to pay. Reno condemned Peter Obi's accusations in president Tinubu stating that he once did what he is accusing Tinubu of when he was a governor.
