 IGP DISU PAYS OPERATIONAL VISIT TO  AKWA IBOM, PRESIDES OVER PASSING-OUT CEREMONY OF 1,068 RETRAINED CONSTABLES The Inspector-General of Police, IGP Olatunji Rilwan Disu, psc(+), NPM, today, 30th April 2026, undertook an official visit to Akwa Ibom State, where he paid a courtesy call on the Executive Governor, His Excellency, Pastor Umo Eno, ahead of the passing-out ceremony of retrained Police Constables in Uyo.  Peter Obi made Anambra people pay Excessive Taxes including Poor Anambra Market Women, when he was Governor. Today, The Same Obi Accuses President Tinubu of Taxing Poverty- Reno Omokri 


Newly appointed Ambassador, Reno Omokri has criticized the former governor of Anambra, Mr Peter Obi over his statements about the current tax reform by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.


Reno Omokri posted a video of an alleged protest by Anambra market women that was recording in 2013 when Peter Obi was still governor of Anambra. Below is the caption Reno used for the video which he posted on his official Facebook account.

A careful attention to the video posted by Reno revealed that the women were protesting against a levy that the state government made compulsory for market women that own a shop to pay. Reno condemned Peter Obi's accusations in president Tinubu stating that he once did what he is accusing Tinubu of when he was a governor.
