Singer Pink hospitalized on New Year's Eve

Singer P!nk, whose real name is Alecia Beth Moore, spent New Year's Eve in the hospital recovering from neck surgery, sharing a selfie with fans on Wednesday to mark the occasion.

In the photo, Moore, 46, smiled from her hospital bed, wearing a gown and a bandage on her neck. She explained that she was “fixing” her body with “two new shiny discs” in her neck, writing, “A new scar, a new reminder, that I appreciate this vessel that I have and use it for all its worth. Rock ‘n’ roll is a contact sport.”

Moore’s Instagram post reflected on her experiences in 2025, a year she described as running “the spectrum from absolutely devastating to mildly annoying.” She wrote about saying goodbye to important people, welcoming new ones, and living through both dreams and nightmares. “I know that 2026 is going to be better because that is the choice that I have made,” she said, encouraging fans to embrace positivity.

While her family celebrated the new year snowboarding, Moore urged her followers to focus on self-care and joy. “Let’s do better for ourselves and for others. Let’s not be afraid to take care of ourselves and others,” she wrote. “I choose joy, and I leave behind the hurt… I’m going to reclaim my wild. And I’m going to keep searching for the light, even as I experience the darkness. #onwardsandupwards as my father used to say.”

The post quickly resonated with fans, garnering more than 500,000 likes within 24 hours, with Moore closing her message with a heartfelt wish: “Happy new year and may you experience more joy than sorrow, more sunshine than rain, more love than hatred.”
