 NDLEA dismantles Abuja drug bunks, arrests 132, recovers 220kg illicit substances  -Marwa hails operation, vows to sustain crackdown in FCT, other states  In a non-stop two-week offensive action against traffickers and dealers, operatives of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) have successfully dismantled several drug joints and bunks within and around the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Abuja where a total of 132 suspects were arrested and 220 kilograms of assorted illicit substances recovered. The wel-coordinated raids jointly conducted by the Agency's Directorate of Operations and General Investigation (DOGI) and the FCT Strategic Command from llth to 25th April 2026 were launched to dismantle illicit drug hubs contributing to substance abuse, trafficking, and associated criminal activities in the capital city after weeks of intelligence and surveillance across all identified hotspots.  SENATE SETS DATE FOR PASSAGE OF 2026 BUDGET


The Senate Committee on Appropriations says it is looking at the possibility of passing the 2026 budget in the third week of March.


At a special  meeting to outline legislative timeline of procedure on the budget, Chairman of the Senate Committee on Appropriations, Senator Adeola Solomon  Olamilekan said, to ensure meticulous scrutiny, hard copies of the budget have been printed for the Chairmen of the standing committees.


 He added that budget defence engagements will hold between February 2nd and 13th 2026.


The committee equally has a plan to convene   an interactive session with key stakeholders, on February 9th with the theme, FROM BUDGET TO IMPACT, STRENGHTENING THE MICRO ECONOMIC STABILITY, ACCELERATING INFRASTRUCTURAL DELIVERY AND IMPROVING SECURITY THROUGH FISCAL DISCIPLINE AND EFFECTIVE IMPLEMENTATION OF 2026 BUDGET.


 The committee  hopes to meet with Federal Governments economic team on March 5th 2026 for a final look at all projections and adjustments before submission of the budget report at plenary for adoption and passage.

Innoson Gives Out Brand New IVM G5 and Salary For Life To The Man Who Prophesied About His Vehicle Manufacturing In 1979.  Last Saturday, July 22nd the Chairman of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company Ltd, Chief Dr Innocent Ifediaso Chukwuma OFR gave out a brand new Innoson IVM G5 to Mr Ikechukwu Osakwe popularly known as Osabros who prophesied to him in 1979 that he would be the first man in Africa to manufacture vehicles and sell to different African countries.  The prophecy was given at the period the then Innocent Chukwuma could not boast of a car, talk less of manufacturing one.
