 Dolly Parton returns to public eye to celebrate opening day at Dollywood     Dolly Parton made her first public appearance in months to celebrate the opening day of Dollywood in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, on Friday. The country music icon reflected on the past year, a year after the death of her husband of nearly 60 years, Carl Dean, saying she is “doing good” and has been working to rebuild herself spiritually, emotionally, and physically after grieving and dealing with health issues that kept her from touring. Joined on stage by Dollywood president Eugene Naughton, Parton brought her trademark humor to the crowd, joking about rumors of a new husband while reaffirming her devotion to Dean. She also shared updates on her ongoing projects, including a new Broadway musical and her Dolly’s Life of Many Colors Museum in Nashville.  Zangon Kataf Council Announces Death Of Former Chairman, Hon. Francis Sani Zimbo


The Zangon Kataf Local Government Council has announced the death of Hon. Francis Sani Amgwa, popularly known as Zimbo, the immediate past Chairman of the Council and Special Adviser to the Kaduna State Governor on Industrial Training.


Zimbo reportedly passed away after a period of illness. 


Until his death, he served as a key aide to the Executive Governor of Kaduna State, contributing to policies and initiatives in the area of industrial training and human capital development.


During his tenure as Chairman of Zangon Kataf Local Government, Hon. Amgwa was widely credited with driving developmental initiatives, strengthening community relations, and promoting peace across the various communities within the local government area. 


He was known for his grassroots engagement, political commitment, and dedication to public service.


Described as a bridge-builder and a leader deeply connected to the people, Hon. Amgwa earned widespread respect for his passion for empowerment and his ability to relate with ordinary citizens. 


Many community members and political associates have described his passing as a significant loss to Zangon Kataf Local Government, Southern Kaduna, and Kaduna State at large.


The Council extended its condolences to the deceased’s family, friends, political associates, and the government and people of Kaduna State.


Funeral arrangements, according to the Council, will be announced at a later date.


Hon. Francis Sani Amgwa is survived by family members and leaves behind a legacy of service and commitment to community development.
