 NDLEA dismantles Abuja drug bunks, arrests 132, recovers 220kg illicit substances  -Marwa hails operation, vows to sustain crackdown in FCT, other states  In a non-stop two-week offensive action against traffickers and dealers, operatives of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) have successfully dismantled several drug joints and bunks within and around the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Abuja where a total of 132 suspects were arrested and 220 kilograms of assorted illicit substances recovered. The wel-coordinated raids jointly conducted by the Agency's Directorate of Operations and General Investigation (DOGI) and the FCT Strategic Command from llth to 25th April 2026 were launched to dismantle illicit drug hubs contributing to substance abuse, trafficking, and associated criminal activities in the capital city after weeks of intelligence and surveillance across all identified hotspots.  Anambra FRSC celebrates Valentine with crash victims, others in Anambra hospitals


Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), Anambra State Command has extended love to victims of road traffic crashes and other patients in various hospitals in the state.


The gesture, mostly cash donations, was extended to patients in Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu University Teaching Hospital, Amaku and Regina Ceili hospital in collaboration with Road Safety Officer’s Wives Association (ROSOWA) and a philanthropist, Abraham Oti.


Speaking to newsmen shortly after the visits, Sector Commander, Corps Commander Bridget Asekhauno said the benevolence was in the spirit of the Valentine season.


Also speaking, ROSOWA chairperson, Mrs Ngozi Ezeala said her organization decided to take advantage of the season to visit accident victims in the hospitals to feel their pains and bring some level of relief to them.


“We want the victims and other patients to know that we care for them as mothers,” she said.


Some of the beneficiaries who spoke to reporters prayed to God to reward the benefactors for the gesture.
