 Catholic priest reportedly klled in Kogi  A Catholic priest, Rev. Fr. Samuel Opeyemi Oyetoro, has been reportedly killed by unknown assailants in Ajaokuta, Kogi State. According to reports, the priest was stabbed multiple times along Ajaokuta road on Wednesday, 29th July 2026. His body was found dumped at the roadside.  Rev. Fr. Oyetoro was born in Egbe, Yagba West Local Government Area of Kogi State and a native of Ayetoro in Ijumu Local Government Area.  Until his death, he served as a priest at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Egbe.  In a statement shared on Instagram (which she reposted to her Stories on February 16, 2026), she clarified that claims suggesting she was removed from any school are not accurate. She emphasized that such narratives have escalated unnecessarily and affirmed her character by stating she is not someone who engages in that kind of behavior.


Apple noted that she recognizes not everyone may have positive views of her, which is understandable in online spaces where opinions vary freely. She stressed that these particular assertions are unfounded, and those familiar with her know her true nature. No supporting evidence has emerged for the rumors, and her response focuses on setting the record straight in a straightforward way.
