 NDLEA dismantles Abuja drug bunks, arrests 132, recovers 220kg illicit substances  -Marwa hails operation, vows to sustain crackdown in FCT, other states  In a non-stop two-week offensive action against traffickers and dealers, operatives of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) have successfully dismantled several drug joints and bunks within and around the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Abuja where a total of 132 suspects were arrested and 220 kilograms of assorted illicit substances recovered. The wel-coordinated raids jointly conducted by the Agency's Directorate of Operations and General Investigation (DOGI) and the FCT Strategic Command from llth to 25th April 2026 were launched to dismantle illicit drug hubs contributing to substance abuse, trafficking, and associated criminal activities in the capital city after weeks of intelligence and surveillance across all identified hotspots. Barry Manilow postpones Las Vegas residency dates after lung cancer surgery announcement

Singer Barry Manilow provided an update on his health on Wednesday, revealing he is recovering from lung cancer surgery and will postpone his Las Vegas residency dates this month.

Manilow had shared in December that a cancerous spot was found on his left lung after he recovered from several weeks of bronchitis. An MRI, ordered as a precaution, revealed the spot that needed surgical removal. On Wednesday, the musician said the procedure went well, and he is now focusing on recovery.

"I've been getting exercise and spending some time in the studio, which has been fantastic," Manilow wrote on Instagram.

Following his doctor’s advice, he will push back his Westgate Las Vegas residency, originally scheduled for Feb. 12 through Feb. 21, to allow time for healing and to prepare for his upcoming tour, which begins Feb. 27.

Manilow had already rescheduled several January tour dates due to recovery. The updated tour runs through April 29, with stops in multiple U.S. cities.
