 Dolly Parton returns to public eye to celebrate opening day at Dollywood     Dolly Parton made her first public appearance in months to celebrate the opening day of Dollywood in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, on Friday. The country music icon reflected on the past year, a year after the death of her husband of nearly 60 years, Carl Dean, saying she is “doing good” and has been working to rebuild herself spiritually, emotionally, and physically after grieving and dealing with health issues that kept her from touring. Joined on stage by Dollywood president Eugene Naughton, Parton brought her trademark humor to the crowd, joking about rumors of a new husband while reaffirming her devotion to Dean. She also shared updates on her ongoing projects, including a new Broadway musical and her Dolly’s Life of Many Colors Museum in Nashville. BAUCHI SECURITY: Police Recovered N1,050,000 Motorcycle, Apprehended Suspect 


The 'C' Division of the Command has arrested a suspect involved in the theft of a motorcycle valued at N1,050,000.


2. On 2nd February, 2026, at approximately 1900hrs, two complainants, Abdullahi Aliyu, a motorcycle dealer, and Musa Usman, a motorcycle mechanic, reported to the police station that a yet-to-be-identified person had stolen a Boxer motorcycle from Aliyu's shop at Muda Lawal Market.


3.The suspect, identified as Ibrahim Muhammad, 25, of Tabli via Birshi Ward, Bauchi, was arrested on 9th February, 2026, at Gwallameji Area, Bauchi, following a tip-off and surveillance by the 'C' Division's detectives. The stolen motorcycle was recovered.


4. Muhammad has confessed to the crime and will be charged to court upon completion of the investigation.


5. The Commissioner of Police, Sani-Omolori Aliyu, mni, psc (+) commended the efforts of the detectives and patrol team involved in the operation and urged citizens to continue providing information to help combat crime in the state.
