 Dolly Parton returns to public eye to celebrate opening day at Dollywood     Dolly Parton made her first public appearance in months to celebrate the opening day of Dollywood in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, on Friday. The country music icon reflected on the past year, a year after the death of her husband of nearly 60 years, Carl Dean, saying she is “doing good” and has been working to rebuild herself spiritually, emotionally, and physically after grieving and dealing with health issues that kept her from touring. Joined on stage by Dollywood president Eugene Naughton, Parton brought her trademark humor to the crowd, joking about rumors of a new husband while reaffirming her devotion to Dean.  Chikun/Kajuru Reps Member, Hon. Fidelix Joseph Bagudu Secures Federal Appointments For Constituents


The Member representing Chikun/Kajuru Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, Fidelix Joseph Bagudu, has facilitated federal government appointments for two constituents as part of ongoing efforts to expand employment opportunities within the constituency.


The beneficiaries, Abubakar Sani from Kajuru Local Government Area and Gladys Nuhu from Chikun Local Government Area, have been appointed as Staff Nurses at Federal Teaching Hospital Katsina and Ahmadu Bello University Teaching Hospital respectively.


According to a statement made available to KADUNA POLITICAL AFFAIRS by the Media and Publicity Directorate of the lawmaker’s office on February 26, 2026, the appointments reflect Hon. Bagudu’s continued commitment to empowering constituents through access to federal opportunities.


The lawmaker assured residents of Chikun and Kajuru that additional appointments and developmental projects are underway, reaffirming his pledge to effective representation and grassroots development.


The statement concluded with the campaign slogans “Let’s Fix It Together” and “Mu Gyara Tare,” underscoring a call for collective progress within the constituency.
