  DEVELOPING STORY: Man Found Unconscious After Allegedly Throwing Children From Storey Building in Aba A man was reportedly found unconscious but still breathing after allegedly falling from a storey building at New Phase of Umuobe by Barracks, Opobo Road, Obignwa, Abia State. The incident, which occurred on Thursday, has caused panic among residents of the area. Eyewitnesses told Magic FM Aba that the man allegedly threw two of his children from the building before attempting to throw down his wife. However, the circumstances surrounding the incident remain unclear. The two children were reportedly rushed to a hospital for medical attention. As of the time of filing this report, Magic FM Aba could not independently confirm their condition or whether they survived the fall. The man, who sustained an injury to the head, was still lying in front of his house and had yet to receive assistance as of the time of this report.  Chikun/Kajuru Reps Member, Hon. Fidelix Joseph Bagudu Secures Federal Appointments For Constituents


The Member representing Chikun/Kajuru Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, Fidelix Joseph Bagudu, has facilitated federal government appointments for two constituents as part of ongoing efforts to expand employment opportunities within the constituency.


The beneficiaries, Abubakar Sani from Kajuru Local Government Area and Gladys Nuhu from Chikun Local Government Area, have been appointed as Staff Nurses at Federal Teaching Hospital Katsina and Ahmadu Bello University Teaching Hospital respectively.


According to a statement made available to KADUNA POLITICAL AFFAIRS by the Media and Publicity Directorate of the lawmaker’s office on February 26, 2026, the appointments reflect Hon. Bagudu’s continued commitment to empowering constituents through access to federal opportunities.


The lawmaker assured residents of Chikun and Kajuru that additional appointments and developmental projects are underway, reaffirming his pledge to effective representation and grassroots development.


The statement concluded with the campaign slogans “Let’s Fix It Together” and “Mu Gyara Tare,” underscoring a call for collective progress within the constituency.
