  DEVELOPING STORY: Man Found Unconscious After Allegedly Throwing Children From Storey Building in Aba A man was reportedly found unconscious but still breathing after allegedly falling from a storey building at New Phase of Umuobe by Barracks, Opobo Road, Obignwa, Abia State. The incident, which occurred on Thursday, has caused panic among residents of the area. Eyewitnesses told Magic FM Aba that the man allegedly threw two of his children from the building before attempting to throw down his wife. However, the circumstances surrounding the incident remain unclear. The two children were reportedly rushed to a hospital for medical attention. As of the time of filing this report, Magic FM Aba could not independently confirm their condition or whether they survived the fall. The man, who sustained an injury to the head, was still lying in front of his house and had yet to receive assistance as of the time of this report.  DJ ORLANDO HOSPITALISED AFTER BRUTAL ATTACK AT OTUKPO WEDDING OVER PAYMENT DISPUTE

A popular disc jockey, DJ Orlando, is receiving treatment in a hospital after being attacked at a wedding in Otukpo, following a disagreement over extra payment.

Reports indicate the incident occurred when DJ Orlando refused to perform at an after-wedding party, explaining that the original agreement with the couple covered only the main ceremony. Attempts to renegotiate reportedly escalated into violence.

Sources say members of the bride’s family allegedly assaulted the DJ with broken bottles and other dangerous objects, leaving him with serious head injuries. He reportedly ran into the bride’s father’s room for safety but was pushed out and left vulnerable to further attacks.

He was eventually rescued and taken to a hospital. The bride and groom, the latter reportedly from Cross River State, allegedly left Otukpo shortly after the attack to avoid questioning.

The incident has sparked outrage among residents and rights advocates in Idoma land, who are calling on security agencies to investigate and bring the perpetrators to justice.

The Benue State Police Command has not yet issued an official statement on the attack.
