 NDLEA dismantles Abuja drug bunks, arrests 132, recovers 220kg illicit substances  -Marwa hails operation, vows to sustain crackdown in FCT, other states  In a non-stop two-week offensive action against traffickers and dealers, operatives of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) have successfully dismantled several drug joints and bunks within and around the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Abuja where a total of 132 suspects were arrested and 220 kilograms of assorted illicit substances recovered. The wel-coordinated raids jointly conducted by the Agency's Directorate of Operations and General Investigation (DOGI) and the FCT Strategic Command from llth to 25th April 2026 were launched to dismantle illicit drug hubs contributing to substance abuse, trafficking, and associated criminal activities in the capital city after weeks of intelligence and surveillance across all identified hotspots.  Former Washington Commanders All-Pro Tre’ Johnson dies at 54

Former NFL offensive guard Tre’ Johnson, a one-time All-Pro with the Washington Commanders, has died at 54, the team announced Sunday. “We’re heartbroken to learn of the loss of former Washington All-Pro guard Tre’ Johnson. Our thoughts are with his family and loved ones,” the team wrote on X.

Johnson’s wife, Irene, said he passed away “suddenly and unexpectedly” while on a family trip, leaving family and friends “devastated and in shock.” Johnson played eight seasons with Washington from 1994 to 2001 and one season with the Cleveland Browns. A second-round draft pick in 1994, he earned a Pro Bowl selection in 1999. After retiring from football, he worked as a history teacher at the Landon School in Bethesda, Maryland, where he was “beloved by the young male students he mentored and the faculty,” according to his wife. Johnson had recently been on leave due to health issues. He is survived by his wife and four children: Chloe, EJ, EZ, and Eden.
