 NDLEA dismantles Abuja drug bunks, arrests 132, recovers 220kg illicit substances  -Marwa hails operation, vows to sustain crackdown in FCT, other states  In a non-stop two-week offensive action against traffickers and dealers, operatives of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) have successfully dismantled several drug joints and bunks within and around the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Abuja where a total of 132 suspects were arrested and 220 kilograms of assorted illicit substances recovered. The wel-coordinated raids jointly conducted by the Agency's Directorate of Operations and General Investigation (DOGI) and the FCT Strategic Command from llth to 25th April 2026 were launched to dismantle illicit drug hubs contributing to substance abuse, trafficking, and associated criminal activities in the capital city after weeks of intelligence and surveillance across all identified hotspots.   Franco Nero honored with star on Hollywood Walk of Fame

Italian film icon Franco Nero was awarded the 2,835th star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame on Thursday, receiving the honor in the Motion Pictures category.

The 84-year-old actor, whose career spans more than six decades and over 200 films across Europe and the U.S., rose to international fame with his role in Sergio Corbucci’s 1966 classic Django, which became a defining work in the Western genre and later inspired reinterpretations, including Django Unchained, where Nero made a cameo. Over the years, he has worked in genres ranging from Westerns and historical epics to political dramas and thrillers, collaborating with directors such as Rainer Werner Fassbinder, John Huston, Luis Buñuel, and Franco Zeffirelli, and appearing alongside some of the most celebrated actors of his generation. Beyond acting, Nero has directed, written, and produced films. Speaking ahead of the ceremony, he credited his enduring career in part to his wife, Oscar-winning actress Vanessa Redgrave, whom he has been married to since 2006, saying her determination inspired him both personally and professionally. The couple shares a son, Carlo Gabriel Nero.

Innoson Gives Out Brand New IVM G5 and Salary For Life To The Man Who Prophesied About His Vehicle Manufacturing In 1979.  Last Saturday, July 22nd the Chairman of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company Ltd, Chief Dr Innocent Ifediaso Chukwuma OFR gave out a brand new Innoson IVM G5 to Mr Ikechukwu Osakwe popularly known as Osabros who prophesied to him in 1979 that he would be the first man in Africa to manufacture vehicles and sell to different African countries.  The prophecy was given at the period the then Innocent Chukwuma could not boast of a car, talk less of manufacturing one.
