A fire incident has affected the old terminal of Murtala Muhammed International Airport in Lagos. The blaze reportedly broke out within the facility, prompting an emergency response from airport authorities.
The Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN) confirmed that no injuries or casualties were recorded. Emergency teams were swiftly deployed to contain the situation and prevent further damage.
While the full extent of the damage is yet to be officially disclosed, operations and safety assessments are expected to follow as authorities investigate the cause of the fire.
