Kim Kardashian appears ready to return to scripted television after her recent show with Ryan Murphy faced harsh reviews.
According to insiders speaking to Page Six, Kardashian is in talks with Murphy about joining a new series centered on Melinda Farina, a so-called “Beauty Broker” who guides wealthy clients through consultations with top plastic surgeons.
The show would follow Farina as she helps clients decode medical terminology, select the right doctors, and manage cosmetic procedures.
Kardashian has previously worked with Murphy, appearing in American Horror Story: Delicate in 2023 and the 2025 legal drama All’s Fair. While All’s Fair struggled critically, earning a “0% fresh” score on Rotten Tomatoes and being called “one of the worst shows of all time” by Slate, insiders say Kardashian remains interested in Murphy’s projects.
The new series could see Kardashian stepping into a role inspired by Farina, who reportedly charges $750 an hour for her services and has high-profile clients, including Gwyneth Paltrow. Kardashian’s resemblance to Farina makes her a strong candidate, though other forms of involvement are possible.
News of the project first appeared in Carson Griffith’s Substack, Rich People Sh-t, and insiders note that Kardashian’s family is no stranger to the world Farina inhabits. Kris Jenner, for example, had a facelift from one of Farina’s preferred doctors, Park Avenue’s Steven M. Levine, which drew widespread attention and led to a surge in inquiries to Farina’s practice.
Farina herself is known for her dramatic flair, having been involved in legal disputes with beauty influencers and accusing well-known surgeons of mishandling procedures, one of which was settled out of court.
Her notoriety adds tension and intrigue that Murphy is known for, echoing his past fascination with perfection, as seen in Nip/Tuck (2003–2010) and his 2025 series Beauty, which explored the deadly side of human obsession with appearance.
