 Dolly Parton returns to public eye to celebrate opening day at Dollywood     Dolly Parton made her first public appearance in months to celebrate the opening day of Dollywood in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, on Friday. The country music icon reflected on the past year, a year after the death of her husband of nearly 60 years, Carl Dean, saying she is “doing good” and has been working to rebuild herself spiritually, emotionally, and physically after grieving and dealing with health issues that kept her from touring. Joined on stage by Dollywood president Eugene Naughton, Parton brought her trademark humor to the crowd, joking about rumors of a new husband while reaffirming her devotion to Dean.  Police Seal Off Hyde Park Home After Shooting Leaves Worker Critically Injured


Police operations intensified in Hyde Park after a 23 year old worker was shot and critically injured at a residence linked to Bellarmine Chatunga Mugabe.


Authorities deployed three emergency medical service trucks to the scene. K9 and forensic units searched the property as part of an ongoing investigation. Officers are looking for the firearm believed to have been used in the shooting. Police have not yet confirmed whether any weapon has been recovered.


The residence is connected to Mugabe, the son of the late former Zimbabwean president Robert Mugabe. Mugabe and another man have been taken into custody. They are expected to appear in the Alexandra Magistrates Court on charges of attempted murder.


Authorities have not released further details about the circumstances that led to the shooting. The condition of the injured worker remains critical.


The case has drawn attention because of the high profile name involved and the location of the incident in one of Johannesburg’s most affluent suburbs. However, the outcome will depend on the strength of the evidence presented in court. Police investigations are ongoing.
