 Farina, Illinois- Shane Lother, a 38-year-old high school teacher has been arrested for grooming and traveling to meet a minor. He remains at the Marion County Jail in Salem, Illinois. The main district that released the statement below is located in Kinmundy and the school Lother was employed at is located in Farina.  The South Central Community Unit School District 401 has released that they have learned an employee from the South Central high School in Farina, Illinois, was arrested today, May 8th. The employee was arrested for having alleged inappropriate relations with a student. Kinmundy police were assisted by the Salem Police while arresting the employee.  The school district shared that they learned about the allegations on February 26th of this year, and immediately upon learning of the allegations, an investigation was started with authorities as well as DCFS becoming involved.  2027: APGA won’t field presidential candidate – Soludo


Anambra State Governor Chukwuma Soludo has confirmed that the All Progressives Grand Alliance, APGA, will not field a presidential candidate in the 2027 elections.


Speaking during a media chat shortly after his inauguration for a second term in office, Soludo said, “President Tinubu is my friend, and I believe he has done well and deserves a second term. I have no apologies about that this is my position.


“Anybody can differ, but beyond personal preferences, the fundamental issue is the interest of my people.”


He further explained the approach of his party, the All Progressives Grand Alliance, APGA, regarding the upcoming election.


“We are not going to field a candidate in our party. Well, we have announced it. In 2011, APGA did not field a presidential candidate. APGA adopted then-President Jonathan as its candidate.


“In Tinubu’s case, how do you communicate that to the South-East? Our people are smart. Once they understand that it is in their own enlightened self-interest, they will see the reasoning,” he said
