 PRESS RELEASE NSC CHAIRMAN HIGHLIGHTS IMPORTANCE OF PARA ATHLETES IN NIGERIAN SPORTS AS FIRST LADY DECLARES 3RD NATIONAL PARA GAMES CLOSED The First Lady of the Federal Republic of Nigeria Her Excellency Senator Oluremi Tinubu CON has declared the 3rd National Para Games closed. Senator Tinubu was represented at the event held at the Velodrome Moshood Abiola National Stadium Abuja by wife of the Vice-president Her Excellency, Hajiya Nana Kashim Shettima.  Her Excellency Senator Tinubu applauded the athletes' resilience in the course of the Games. AN ARMED AND DANGEROUS SUSPECT IS CURRENTLY BEING SOUGHT IN ILLINOIS. (PHOTO).


 An armed and dangerous suspect is currently being sought in Illinois. 


A 16-year-old Illinois girl was fatally shot in her home over the weekend.


Authorities in Cook County, Illinois, are searching for a person of interest they described as armed and dangerous, after the Saturday morning homicide of 16-year-old, Lily Bova.


Lily had her life taken away from her in the upscale apartment where she lived in unincorporated Glenview, Illinois.  The incident occurred around 11 a.m. and Lily passed away a short time later at Advocate General Lutheran Hospital in Park Ridge, Illinois.


Authorities are being tight-lipped on the circumstances leading up to the shooting. They haven't provided a picture or name for the suspect. 


Lily was a sophomore at Glen Brook South High School. 


The school has provided grief counselors for students as they cope with the loss of their peer.
