Brenda Song slams Alaska Airlines for 'splitting up' their family on first-class flight

Brenda Song publicly criticized Alaska Airlines after claiming the company disrupted her family’s travel plans with fiancé Macaulay Culkin and their two young sons.

In a lengthy Instagram Story, the actress alleged that the airline “split up” their family despite booking first-class seats together six months in advance for one of their son’s birthdays.

She accused the airline of giving away their reserved seats without warning and urged followers to avoid flying with the carrier.

Culkin reposted her remarks, joking that “hell hath no fury like a Brenda scorned.”

Alaska Airlines responded by apologizing, calling the incident “unacceptable and not reflective of the care” they aim to provide.

The company reportedly reached out to Song privately to address the situation. The couple, who met in 2017 and got engaged in 2022, have two sons: Dakota, born in 2021, and Carson, born in 2022.

Their family trip comes amid Culkin’s recent reflections on fatherhood, where he admitted that parenting transformed him into a “suburban dad who wears Crocs,” a lifestyle shift he once swore he would avoid.

Culkin has embraced the changes brought by family life, even joking about adopting pink Crocs after seeing his eldest child wear them.

He also credited Song with introducing him to skincare, though she admits he remains low-maintenance. Song, best known for The Suite Life of Zack & Cody, continues to balance her career with family life, while Culkin, the former Home Alone star, has softened his image as he navigates parenthood.

The airline controversy highlights the challenges of family travel, but also underscores how the couple’s domestic life has become a central part of their public narrative.
