 PRAY FOR PEACE IN NIGERIA, SANWO-OLU URGES INTENDING PILGRIMS Lagos State Governor, Mr Babajide Sanwo-Olu has charged the Intending Pilgrims embarking on the 2026 holy pilgrimage exercise to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to actively participate in the prayer sessions for the prosperity of Lagos State and Nigeria. Governor Sanwo-Olu gave the charge during a one-day seminar held at the Lagos Television De-Blue Roof Ikeja for the 2026 Hajj Intending Pilgrims, organised by the Lagos State Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Board. The Governor, represented by the Commissioner for Home Affairs, Mr Ibrahim Layode, said that the Hajj exercise revolves around intermittent prayer sessions and the pilgrims should use the opportunity to pray for the State and Nigeria at large fervently.  CP ORUTUGU CONDOLES VICTIMS, VISITS SCENE OF FIRE INCIDENT AT PLUMBING MARKET, HEADBRIDGE, ONITSHA


The Commissioner of Police, Anambra State Command, CP Ikioye Orutugu, fwc, mnips, PhD, commiserates with victims of the fire incident that occurred at the Plumbing Market, Headbridge, Onitsha, while also assessing the extent of damage at the scene.


During the visit today, 22nd March 2026, CP Orutugu expressed deep sympathy to those affected by the unfortunate incident and assured them of the Command’s support, particularly in ensuring the security of lives and property in the area to prevent further losses or exploitation by criminal elements.


The CP, while assessing the scene, noted that preliminary information suggests the fire may have been caused by heat generated from the storage of inflammable materials, particularly pipes, and possible non-adherence to fire safety regulations.


As investigations into the incident continue, the Commissioner of Police commended the swift response of emergency responders, including the Fire Service and other relevant agencies, whose timely intervention helped to contain the situation and prevent further escalation. He noted that no life was lost in the incident.


The CP was accompanied on the visit by the Divisional Police Officer, Headbridge Division, CSP Onyinaya Uche, alongside other relevant stakeholders in the market.


The Command urges traders and residents to adhere strictly to safety guidelines, especially in the storage and handling of inflammable materials, to avert future occurrences.

Innoson Gives Out Brand New IVM G5 and Salary For Life To The Man Who Prophesied About His Vehicle Manufacturing In 1979.  Last Saturday, July 22nd the Chairman of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company Ltd, Chief Dr Innocent Ifediaso Chukwuma OFR gave out a brand new Innoson IVM G5 to Mr Ikechukwu Osakwe popularly known as Osabros who prophesied to him in 1979 that he would be the first man in Africa to manufacture vehicles and sell to different African countries.  The prophecy was given at the period the then Innocent Chukwuma could not boast of a car, talk less of manufacturing one.
