 26-year-old woman who made false rape claim against ‘kind’ UK banker and tried to blackmail him for money is jailed in Hong Kong  A woman who falsely accused a banker of rape has been jailed for six years.  Isabel Anonia Barbra Eudora Rose from Hackney, East London, was convicted of blackmail and perverting the course of justice after she demanded £100,000 from the UK banker she accused of rape.  The 26-year-old was sentenced at the District Court in Hong Kong on Wednesday, July 22, with Judge Adriana Noelle Tse Ching finding her guilty of blackmail and perverting the course of public justice.  FIRST LADY MEETS US SPECIAL ENVOY FOR BEST FUTURE GENERATIONS IN WASHINGTON


Nigeria's First Lady, Oluremi Tinubu says  promoting education,  using every necessary incentive,  is one of the pivotal programme of the Bola Tinubu administration. 


She shared this insight with the US Special Envoy for Best Future Generations, Charles Harder in Washington. 


President Bola Tinubu she notes, is working hard to build a formidable foundation that can be built upon, with quality education on the front burner.


While informing the Special Envoy that a nation-wide campaign to promote child nutrition, through her office is set to be launched in a few days, the First Lady also stated that books must be retained in schools despite technological advancement,  citing the need to broaden the knowledge base of students without disruptions or interference from the social media and related channels.


In his remarks, the Special Envoy explained that the meeting was convened to further discussions on the needs and situation of the Nigerian Child, noting that the Best Future Generations, a brain child of First Lady Melania Trump, seeks to address issues  affecting children the world over,  including food, nutrition, health and protection from all forms of abuse.


The meeting was held on the margins of the Fostering the Future Together Global Summit where over 45 First Ladies from various nations participated and discussed extensively the roles and effect of Artificial Intelligence among children and adolescents worldwide-wide.
