Her Name Is Ozzy Matilda - Jack Osbourne Welcomes Baby Girl Named After Late Dad, “Introducing Ozzy Matilda Osbourne
Jack Osbourne is celebrating a tender new chapter in his family life, welcoming a baby girl with his wife, Aree Gearhart.
The couple shared the happy news with fans on March 11, introducing their newborn daughter through a joint Instagram post.
“Introducing Ozzy Matilda Osbourne,” the caption read, revealing both the baby’s name and a heartfelt tribute behind it.
Alongside the message, Jack posted a soft black and white video of the little one sleeping peacefully on floral sheets.
A small card placed beside her revealed she arrived on March 5, weighing seven pounds and four ounces.
A plush Jellycat bat toy rested nearby, adding a playful touch to the scene.
The baby’s name carries deep meaning for the family. She was named after Jack’s father, legendary rock musician Ozzy Osbourne, who d!ed at age 76 in July 2025.
Ozzy Matilda is the second child Jack shares with Gearhart. Their first daughter together, Maple Artemis Osbourne, was born on July 9, 2022.
Jack is also father to three daughters from his previous marriage to Lisa Stelly, Pearl Clementine, 13, Andy Rose, 10, and Minnie Theodora, 7. With the arrival of the newborn, his household has become even livelier.
The pregnancy was first revealed publicly in December 2025 during an interview with The Sun on Sunday. At the time, Jack had just been evicted from the reality television show I’m a Celebrity, and he spoke warmly about the news.
“It’s awesome,” he said then. “We’re super excited. It was sort of planned, I should say. It was maybe a little earlier than expected. But it’s definitely something that we were wanting to pursue and somehow it happened, miraculously.”
Jack also shared that he had the chance to tell his father about the pregnancy before the rock legend d!ed, something he described as deeply meaningful.
“I think it’s been partly a healthy distraction, partly healing,” he explained. “Probably in that kind of full cycle category, in a weird way.
"It’s very much taken energy out of the grieving side of things and parked it in a bit more hopefulness.”
Away from the emotional moments, family life in the Osbourne household also includes lighter joys. Jack’s daughters are big fans of Taylor Swift, something he has spoken about before.
When Swift’s Eras Tour arrived in Los Angeles, the family made sure not to miss it. Jack recalled convincing his eldest daughter to attend even though she initially hesitated.
“My girls are all Swifties,” he said in an earlier interview. “And my eldest daughter wasn’t as excited as the younger ones. I told her, ‘Listen, what you’re about to see will be a thing of legend. One day you’ll tell your kids you were there.’”
