The release of new footage tied to Justin Timberlake’s DWI arrest has brought a wave of renewed attention, something his wife, Jessica Biel, is reportedly struggling with.
According to a source, the actress is “not happy about the renewed attention,” especially as the material has resurfaced details from a moment the family had hoped to move past.
The insider explained that the situation has been “stressful,” adding that the footage does not present Timberlake in the best light, which has made the timing difficult.
Biel, who has been married to Timberlake since 2012, is said to remain supportive despite the circumstances.
The source noted that while there have been “challenging moments,” her focus continues to be on moving forward and maintaining stability at home with their two children, Silas and Phineas.
“She’s the happiest when she’s able to focus on family life,” the insider said, pointing out that she balances that with her work when she chooses to take on projects. At the same time, she is described as someone who does not hesitate to express disappointment when needed, and this situation reportedly falls into that category.
The footage in question stems from Timberlake’s arrest in the Hamptons in June 2024, where he was stopped by police, asked to perform field sobriety tests, and later declined multiple breathalyzer requests.
In the clip, he can be seen cooperating with officers while also acknowledging the difficulty of the tests.
During the stop, a friend who arrived at the scene referenced his public profile while speaking to officers, asking them to consider his fame.
Timberlake was later charged with driving while intoxicated along with traffic violations including failing to stop at a stop sign and not keeping right.
The incident initially drew attention in part due to its timing and the fact that Timberlake was pulled over after meeting friends for dinner at a local venue. Reports at the time also suggested he expressed concern about how the situation might affect his ongoing tour, before later being processed at the station.
