A Tennessee teen girl erupts at school board meeting accusing the board of being cowards for inaction after a board member made very inappropriate remarks. When school board member Keith Ervin singled out Hannah Campbell on April 2nd, grabbing her in an embrace and calling her hot, it gained a lot of attention online, as well as with the media.  Hannah had just finished delivering remarks to the board when Ervin grabbed the student and stated, "God, you're hot. Do you know that? Damn. Where do you go to school?" The entire ordeal was captured on video and done in front of the entire school board and all in attendance. Now, over a month after the uncomfortable incident, Hannah Campbell has spoken up at the most recent school board meeting on Thursday, May 8th.  Kaduna Government Allocates New Plots To Victims Of El-Rufai-Era Demolitions

The Kaduna State Government has allocated new plots of land to residents of Malali Low-Cost in Kaduna whose homes were demolished during the administration of Nasir El-Rufai.

The Director General of the Kaduna Geographic Information Service (KADGIS), Bashir Garba Ibrahim, presented the land titles to the affected residents, stating that the move fulfills a promise made by Governor Uba Sani to ensure justice for the victims.

He explained that the allocation followed a stakeholders’ meeting held on January 21, where it was agreed that the circumstances surrounding the earlier demolitions should be reviewed.

During the presentation, Dr Ibrahim urged beneficiaries to develop their plots promptly and advised them not to sell the land, emphasizing that the goal is to help them become homeowners and contribute to the state’s development.

Speaking on behalf of the beneficiaries, Mohammed Auwal, chairman of the former Malali Low-Cost residents, expressed appreciation to the governor for addressing their long-standing concerns. He noted that the victims had spent about nine years seeking compensation and also commended KADGIS for facilitating the new allocations.

Other residents praised Governor Sani for what they described as a compassionate and people-focused leadership style.

The demolitions date back to October 2020, when residents were issued a seven-day quit notice by the Kaduna State Development and Property Company (KSDPC).

Although protests initially halted the plan, a three-day notice was later issued in March 2021, leading to the demolition of over 80 structures.

Since then, affected homeowners had continued to engage the state government, demanding either compensation or alternative land.
