 U.S equipment, experts arrive at Kenya Ebola facility despite court order, protests Around 20 flights carrying medical equipment and specialist staff have landed at a base in Kenya where the U.S. ​government is continuing to build an Ebola quarantine facility despite protests and Kenyan court orders blocking it, according to flight data and officials. At least two ‌people have been killed in protests in the central Kenyan town of Nanyuki, home to the Kenyan air force base where the U.S. military is building a 50-bed unit for Americans who might be exposed to the virus, which has infected hundreds in Democratic Republic of Congo and Uganda. A Kenyan court first ordered work on the Ebola facility to be suspended on May ​28, yet U.S. military flights into Nanyuki continued in the days that followed, according to data from flight-tracking service Flightradar24.  Kaduna Highway Crash Claims Life Of Army Officer


A senior military officer has died following a road accident along the Abuja–Kaduna highway.


The incident was revealed in a post shared on X on Sunday by security analyst Zagazola Makama.


According to the report, the crash occurred on March 28 at Azara village, near Jere in Kagarko Local Government Area of Kaduna State.


The accident reportedly involved a commercial Sharon bus and a BUA Cement truck.


The officer, identified as Major A.M. Abubakar, was said to be a passenger in the commercial vehicle at the time. 


He was also a student at the Armed Forces Command and Staff College (AFCSC).


Sources indicated that the officer died instantly, while other passengers sustained minor injuries.


His remains were later taken to the 44 Nigerian Army Reference Hospital in Kaduna, where his personal belongings were handed over to his family upon their arrival.
