Kaduna Targets Completion Of Over 140 Road Projects

The Kaduna State Government has announced plans to complete more than 140 ongoing road projects across the state as part of efforts to strengthen infrastructure, improve transportation, and stimulate economic growth.

The Managing Director of the Kaduna Roads Agency, Dr. Abdullahi Baba-Ahmed, disclosed this in a statement released to journalists in Abuja on Saturday.

The announcement came as the agency launched its second documentary titled “Roads of Legacy: Governor Uba Sani Reconnects Kaduna.”

The film highlights both completed and ongoing road projects undertaken by the administration of Uba Sani.

According to the statement, over 140 road projects covering approximately 1,335 kilometres are currently in progress across Kaduna State, with around 60 per cent already completed.

The agency noted that the roads reflect the administration’s commitment to improving connectivity and development across the state.

In December 2025, the agency’s first documentary had already showcased about 700 kilometres of completed road projects across various communities.

Baba-Ahmed explained that several strategic road corridors have been initiated and completed under Governor Sani’s leadership to reconnect communities and support local commerce.

He said roads stretching from Zaria through Kaduna North and into Southern Kaduna are helping ease transportation, enhance trade, and improve access to previously difficult-to-reach areas.

Some of the key road projects highlighted in the documentary include the Magajiya–Amaru–Unguwan Liman Road, Audi–Kako Road, Tudun Biri Road, Durum–Kurumtumawa Road, Pambegua–Kauru Road, Gadar Gayan–Kujama Junction Road, and the Madauchi–Madakiya–Kafanchan Road.
