 Kano APC Unites as Stakeholders Affirm New State Executive


The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Kano State has recorded a major milestone as key stakeholders across the state affirmed and endorsed the newly elected State Executive Committee of the party.


This was contained in a statement signed by the governor’s spokesperson, Sunusi Bature Dawakin Tofa on Wednesday.


Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf, Deputy Senate President, Senator Barau Jibrin, and the former National Chairman of the APC, Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, congratulated the new executives and described their emergence as a major step towards strengthening unity and stability within the party in Kano State.


They commended party members for conducting a peaceful and successful congress, noting that the outcome reflects the collective will of APC supporters across the state.


Prominent stakeholders, including Murtala Sule Garo, Tijjani Gwarzo, and Abba Kabir Bichi, alongside other party leaders, pledged their full support to the new State Executive Committee.


The stakeholders emphasized the need for reconciliation, cooperation and collective responsibility in order to reposition the party for future electoral success in Kano State.


They urged the newly elected executives to carry all members along and ensure fairness, transparency and inclusiveness in the conduct of party affairs.


According to them, the unity displayed during the affirmation process sends a strong signal that the APC in Kano State is now more focused and determined to work as one family.


The stakeholders further called on party members at all levels to rally behind the new leadership for the progress and growth of the party.
