 U.S equipment, experts arrive at Kenya Ebola facility despite court order, protests Around 20 flights carrying medical equipment and specialist staff have landed at a base in Kenya where the U.S. ​government is continuing to build an Ebola quarantine facility despite protests and Kenyan court orders blocking it, according to flight data and officials. At least two ‌people have been killed in protests in the central Kenyan town of Nanyuki, home to the Kenyan air force base where the U.S. military is building a 50-bed unit for Americans who might be exposed to the virus, which has infected hundreds in Democratic Republic of Congo and Uganda. A Kenyan court first ordered work on the Ebola facility to be suspended on May ​28, yet U.S. military flights into Nanyuki continued in the days that followed, according to data from flight-tracking service Flightradar24.  Lawyer dies after being trapped in Abuja hotel lift


 lawyer, Barrister Abdulsalami Ginsau, has reportedly d!ed after being trapped inside an elevator at a hotel in Abuja.


An eyewitness account said the incident occurred on Monday, March 30, 2026. 


The report indicated that the deceased was stuck in the lift for a prolonged period, leading to his d3ath, suspected to be from suffocation.


However, the exact cause of the incident has not been officially confirmed.


It’s is unclear whether it was due to a power outage or a mechanical fault in the elevator.


Authorities and the management of the hotel involved have issued an official statement at the time of filing this report.


The identity of the hotel has also not been disclosed. 


Meanwhile friends and colleagues have taken to social media to mourn him.
