 U.S equipment, experts arrive at Kenya Ebola facility despite court order, protests Around 20 flights carrying medical equipment and specialist staff have landed at a base in Kenya where the U.S. ​government is continuing to build an Ebola quarantine facility despite protests and Kenyan court orders blocking it, according to flight data and officials. At least two ‌people have been killed in protests in the central Kenyan town of Nanyuki, home to the Kenyan air force base where the U.S. military is building a 50-bed unit for Americans who might be exposed to the virus, which has infected hundreds in Democratic Republic of Congo and Uganda. A Kenyan court first ordered work on the Ebola facility to be suspended on May ​28, yet U.S. military flights into Nanyuki continued in the days that followed, according to data from flight-tracking service Flightradar24.  Meghan Markle’s dad finds love with nurse 35 years younger


Thomas Markle, Meghan Markle’s estranged father, has found companionship again after meeting nurse Rio Canedo, 35 years his junior, while recovering from surgery in the Philippines. 


At 81, Markle says he is “overjoyed” with the relationship, describing Rio as a source of peace and happiness after years of health struggles and personal turmoil. 


Despite criticism, he insists he is focused on living fully, declaring, “haters will hate.”


Markle’s health challenges have been significant in recent years, including a leg amputation, a stroke, and multiple hospitalizations. 


His move to the Philippines earlier this year was partly to seek privacy and escape reminders of his fractured relationship with Meghan, who has been estranged from him since her 2018 wedding to Prince Harry. 


While he has never met Harry or his grandchildren, Markle remains close to his other children, with his son Thomas Jr. now acting as his caregiver.


The father-daughter relationship once appeared strong, as Meghan lived with him during her teenage years and described him as hardworking and inspiring. 


However, their bond broke down after Markle staged paparazzi photos ahead of her wedding, an incident that led to mistrust and a heated phone call with Harry. 


Since then, Markle has maintained ties with his other family members while carving out a quieter life abroad, insisting that despite past mistakes, he has found happiness again in his new relationship.
