The event, held at Eko Hotel and Suites, Victoria Island, on Sunday, 22nd March 2026, was part of the Miss Nigeria Patrons and Board Dinner / Daily Times Young Fashion Designer of the Year Award, and had in attendance a diverse audience of industry stakeholders, creatives and cultural enthusiasts. Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s marriage is reportedly facing increasing strain, with insiders describing their relationship as marked by frequent arguments, periods of separation, and mounting frustrations. 


Despite their efforts to build a life outside the royal family, financial pressures and the challenge of sustaining their public image have added tension to their partnership. 


Their recent humanitarian trip to Jordan, which included visits to refugee camps and hospitals, drew far less attention than earlier tours, raising questions about their relevance since stepping back from royal duties in 2020.
