 26-year-old woman who made false rape claim against ‘kind’ UK banker and tried to blackmail him for money is jailed in Hong Kong  A woman who falsely accused a banker of rape has been jailed for six years.  Isabel Anonia Barbra Eudora Rose from Hackney, East London, was convicted of blackmail and perverting the course of justice after she demanded £100,000 from the UK banker she accused of rape.  The 26-year-old was sentenced at the District Court in Hong Kong on Wednesday, July 22, with Judge Adriana Noelle Tse Ching finding her guilty of blackmail and perverting the course of public justice.  Scorned lover stabs his ex-girlfriend’s boyfriend


A 26- year-old Malawi national was stabbed by his girlfriend’s ex-boyfriend in South Africa.


The incident happened at his residence in an informal settlement in Redcliffe, Verulam - KZN on Tuesday morning.


Members of Reaction Unit South Africa (RUSA) were called out to the scene at 12:27. 


On arrival, Reaction Officers interviewed the injured male and his girlfriend.


According to the female, her 26-year old ex-boyfriend allegedly kicked open the door to the home and confronted her current partner at approximately 01:00.


During the confrontation, the suspect allegedly stabbed the victim two times before fleeing. 


The injured male thereafter fled from the house and concealed himself in nearby bushes for several hours out of fear for his safety.


She stated that she searched for her boyfriend during the night but was unable to locate him. 


Upon returning to the residence this morning, she found that he had made his way back after hiding in nearby bushes.


The female further explained that she had previously been involved with both men simultaneously before ending her relationship with the suspect and choosing to continue the relationship with the victim. 


It is alleged that the suspect had been unable to accept the separation and had on several occasions threatened and assaulted the couple prior to the incident.


The injured male was treated on scene before being transported privately to a medical facility.
