 U.S equipment, experts arrive at Kenya Ebola facility despite court order, protests Around 20 flights carrying medical equipment and specialist staff have landed at a base in Kenya where the U.S. ​government is continuing to build an Ebola quarantine facility despite protests and Kenyan court orders blocking it, according to flight data and officials. At least two ‌people have been killed in protests in the central Kenyan town of Nanyuki, home to the Kenyan air force base where the U.S. military is building a 50-bed unit for Americans who might be exposed to the virus, which has infected hundreds in Democratic Republic of Congo and Uganda. A Kenyan court first ordered work on the Ebola facility to be suspended on May ​28, yet U.S. military flights into Nanyuki continued in the days that followed, according to data from flight-tracking service Flightradar24. The planes have brought in technical ​equipment as well as dozens of physicians, engineers, lab experts and construction work...

 Scorned lover stabs his ex-girlfriend’s boyfriend


A 26- year-old Malawi national was stabbed by his girlfriend’s ex-boyfriend in South Africa.


The incident happened at his residence in an informal settlement in Redcliffe, Verulam - KZN on Tuesday morning.


Members of Reaction Unit South Africa (RUSA) were called out to the scene at 12:27. 


On arrival, Reaction Officers interviewed the injured male and his girlfriend.


According to the female, her 26-year old ex-boyfriend allegedly kicked open the door to the home and confronted her current partner at approximately 01:00.


During the confrontation, the suspect allegedly stabbed the victim two times before fleeing. 


The injured male thereafter fled from the house and concealed himself in nearby bushes for several hours out of fear for his safety.


She stated that she searched for her boyfriend during the night but was unable to locate him. 


Upon returning to the residence this morning, she found that he had made his way back after hiding in nearby bushes.


The female further explained that she had previously been involved with both men simultaneously before ending her relationship with the suspect and choosing to continue the relationship with the victim. 


It is alleged that the suspect had been unable to accept the separation and had on several occasions threatened and assaulted the couple prior to the incident.


The injured male was treated on scene before being transported privately to a medical facility.
