 ‎‎NAF RECEIVES FIVE NEW HELICOPTERS AS FG ACCELERATES AIRPOWER MODERNISATION ‎ The Nigerian Air Force (NAF) has taken delivery of five new helicopters as the Federal Government accelerates efforts to modernize Nigeria’s airpower capabilities and strengthen the Armed Forces’ capacity to respond effectively to contemporary security challenges.  ‎ ‎A statement by the Director of Public Relations and Information Air Commodore Ehimen Ejodame indicates that the platforms comprise three AW-109 Trekker B helicopters  and two H-125 helicopters. ‎ The three AW-109s, which form part of 10 recently acquired by the Federal Government, were received in Lagos on 15 September 2026, with the remaining seven expected to be delivered before the end of 2026. ‎ ‎The Chief of the Air Staff, Air Marshal Sunday Aneke, described the acquisition as another significant milestone in the Federal Government’s sustained investment in the modernization and re-equipment of the NAF noting that the new pl...

 Sheryl Underwood addresses feud with Sharon Osbourne

Sheryl Underwood recently revisited her relationship with Sharon Osbourne while guest co-hosting The View. 


The former Talk co-host reflected on their tense 2021 on-air exchange about racism, which stemmed from Osbourne defending Piers Morgan’s comments about Meghan Markle. 


Underwood admitted that despite the fallout, she still feels there is “some love” between them, noting that she even tried to reach out when Ozzy Osbourne passed away in 2025. 


She explained that years of working side by side created a bond, even if disagreements overshadowed it.


Underwood acknowledged that she avoided leaving voicemails for Osbourne out of fear they might be misinterpreted or leaked, preferring silence over causing further hurt. 


She emphasized that her restraint during their televised clash was intentional, as she wanted to represent women positively rather than engage in a public shouting match. 


For her, the moment was about showing viewers that women can disagree without tearing each other down.


Osbourne has also spoken about the incident, admitting in a 2024 interview that she initially resisted apologizing but eventually did so at her child’s urging. 


She claimed Underwood ignored her calls and misrepresented her apology, a point Underwood addressed on The View. 


Reflecting on the situation, Underwood said both women could have handled things differently, but she remains focused on growth and accountability. 


Ultimately, she framed the experience as a lesson in grace, emphasizing the importance of dialogue and respect in professional relationships.
