Tiger Woods made his long-awaited return to competitive golf in the TGL, his first appearance since the 2024 Open Championship at Royal Troon.

Playing for Jupiter Links, Woods and his team suffered a heavy 9-2 defeat against Los Angeles, led by Tommy Fleetwood and Justin Rose.

Despite the loss, Woods hinted at a possible Masters comeback, signaling his determination to return to Augusta National after undergoing back surgery and battling an Achilles injury.

The match wasn’t without off-course drama, as Woods was spotted sharing a kiss with Vanessa Trump, the ex-wife of Donald Trump Jr., in front of fans and family members.

Their relationship has drawn attention since it began, with reports suggesting tension over Woods’ past relationships.

Still, the pair presented a united front before Jupiter Links’ crushing defeat, while Fleetwood’s son celebrated LA’s $9 million prize by making confetti angels on the turf.

Reflecting on the loss, Woods admitted frustration over missed opportunities and acknowledged that his team failed to respond once momentum shifted.

Yet he expressed joy at being back in a competitive environment, praising the camaraderie with teammates like Max Homa and Tom Kim.

While he conceded that his body no longer recovers as quickly as it once did, Woods reaffirmed his love for the Masters and his commitment to keep fighting through injuries, determined to compete again on golf’s biggest stage.
