Terrifying new dashcam footage shows moment doomed NBC helicopter falls out of the sky The terrifying moment an NBC helicopter fell out of the sky and plunged into the ground near where an SUV had slammed into a Metro bus was caught on dashcam. The video, obtained by KTLA, shows the helicopter descending, caught from afar on the vehicle camera of Yera Valencia. She said: “I downloaded the video of my dashcam. It’s a little dot on the video. It’s a crisp video and it just goes down.” She added: “God, it’s so close, it could have happened to anyone. My parents walk down the street.” The two back-to-back Tuesday night crashes resulted in five deaths — two involving the bus and SUV, and three as a result of the chopper going down, killing reporter Eliana Moreno, pilot George Marciniw and pedestrian Edy Gutierrez Mejia.

Tim Curry recently revisited his time working on Home Alone 2: Lost in New York, sharing behind‑the‑scenes memories that highlight the realities of filmmaking. 


At 79, the actor reflected during a visit to The Academy’s Margaret Herrick Library, where he explored artifacts from his career and spoke with archivist Louise Hilton. 


When asked about filming at the Plaza Hotel, Curry revealed that the glamorous setting wasn’t quite as magical for the cast, admitting his room only offered a view of a brick wall.


His recollections underscored how everyday details often contrast with the movie’s larger‑than‑life feel. While the Plaza became an iconic part of the sequel’s story, Curry reminded fans that for the adult cast, it was still just work. 


He also shared warm memories of Macaulay Culkin, describing how the young star would stay up late watching movies and sometimes fall asleep in the makeup chair. 


The anecdote painted a picture of Culkin as a regular kid navigating the unusual pressures of carrying a blockbuster franchise.


Curry emphasized that he genuinely enjoyed working with Culkin, calling him “a very nice kid.” 


For fans, it’s reassuring to hear that the atmosphere behind the scenes was kind, especially given Curry’s role as the stern hotel concierge in the film. 


His reflections offered a more personal glimpse into the making of Home Alone 2, reminding audiences that even in the midst of Hollywood spectacle, the cast experienced ordinary, human moments.
