Senator Tinubu was represented at the event held at the Velodrome Moshood Abiola National Stadium Abuja by wife of the Vice-president Her Excellency, Hajiya Nana Kashim Shettima.  Her Excellency Senator Tinubu applauded the athletes' resilience in the course of the Games.  TRAGEDY HITS APC AS 3 BENUE YOUTH LEADERS DIES, OTHERS INJURED IN AUTO CRASH


 Three members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) from Ogbadibo Local Government Area of Benue State have lost their lives in a fatal road accident while travelling to Lafia, Nasarawa State, for the party’s North Central Zonal Congress.


The victims were part of a delegation heading for the APC zonal gathering when the crash occurred on Wednesday, March 25, 2026.


The deceased were identified as Hon. Anawo Benjamin, Hon. Ogbe Enemari, and Hon. Abraham Enenche, all described as youth leaders within the party in Ogbadibo LGA.


Several other party members sustained varying degrees of injuries in the accident. They are currently receiving treatment at the Benue State University Teaching Hospital (BSUTH) in Makurdi.


The Benue State APC Chairman, Chief Benjamin Omale, expressed deep sorrow over the incident, describing it as a painful loss to the party.


Similarly, Senator Abba Moro, representing Benue South Senatorial District, extended condolences to the bereaved families and wished the injured a quick recovery.


Both leaders urged party members to remain united during this period of mourning.

 Tinubu announces arrival of 4 US attack helicopters President Bola Tinubu has stated that four attack helicopters will soon arrive in the country from the United States amid rising insecurity. Speaking at a meeting with a delegation of the Christian Association of Nigeria, led by its President, Archbishop Daniel Okoh, at his Lagos residence, on Friday, Dec. 26, Tinubu revealed that the Federal Government had ordered four attack helicopters from the U.S, adding that they will arrive in the country “soon”. He said: “Our orders for four attack helicopters from the United States of America will take some time to arrive.
