  BANDITS STRIKE CHURCH IN KWARA: WORSHIPPERS ABDUCTED IN SHOCKING ATTACK Chaos erupted in Omugo community, Ifelodun LGA, Kwara State, as armed bandits stormed an ECWA Church during Sunday morning service, abducting worshippers and sending the congregation fleeing in terror. Sources report that at least seven people were kidnapped before security forces could intervene. In a swift and coordinated response, joint security operatives, including forest guards and local vigilantes, rescued three victims, though several remain in captivity. Bolanle Olukoju, Kwara State Commissioner for Communications, condemned the brazen attack, describing it as “cowardly and unacceptable,” and praised the rapid action of security agencies.  Trump says he is not interested in a ceasefire with Iran 


President Donald Trump said Friday that he is not interested in negotiating a ceasefire with Iran, even as the U.S.-Israel conflict in the region enters its third week. Speaking from the White House before leaving for Florida, Trump emphasized that while dialogue might be possible, a ceasefire is not an option. “You don’t do a ceasefire when you’re literally obliterating the other side,” he said, adding that Iran lacks a navy, air force, or significant military equipment.

The president reiterated earlier statements that he does not plan to deploy ground troops in Iran. Meanwhile, the Pentagon has announced a second deployment in as many weeks, sending up to 2,500 Marines to the Middle East to bolster U.S. forces in the ongoing conflict, which has expanded beyond the initial U.S.-Israel strikes.
