Senator Tinubu was represented at the event held at the Velodrome Moshood Abiola National Stadium Abuja by wife of the Vice-president Her Excellency, Hajiya Nana Kashim Shettima.  Her Excellency Senator Tinubu applauded the athletes' resilience in the course of the Games.  TWO KILLED, SEVERAL INJURED IN AUTO CRASH IN KOGI COMMUNITY 


A tragic road accident has claimed the lives of two persons in Alome Ejule, located in Ofu Local Government Area of Kogi State, according to eyewitness accounts.


Residents said the crash occurred within the community and left several others injured.


Eyewitnesses identified one of the deceased as Shehu, said to be from Odu Okpakili Ogane in Ejule. The second victim, a woman, was reportedly from Agojeju Ejule.


Sources at the scene disclosed that multiple victims sustained varying degrees of injuries during the accident.

The injured were quickly transported to a nearby hospital for urgent medical treatment.


Authorities are yet to release an official statement on the incident.

 Tinubu announces arrival of 4 US attack helicopters President Bola Tinubu has stated that four attack helicopters will soon arrive in the country from the United States amid rising insecurity. Speaking at a meeting with a delegation of the Christian Association of Nigeria, led by its President, Archbishop Daniel Okoh, at his Lagos residence, on Friday, Dec. 26, Tinubu revealed that the Federal Government had ordered four attack helicopters from the U.S, adding that they will arrive in the country “soon”.
