  DEVELOPING STORY: Man Found Unconscious After Allegedly Throwing Children From Storey Building in Aba A man was reportedly found unconscious but still breathing after allegedly falling from a storey building at New Phase of Umuobe by Barracks, Opobo Road, Obignwa, Abia State. The incident, which occurred on Thursday, has caused panic among residents of the area. Eyewitnesses told Magic FM Aba that the man allegedly threw two of his children from the building before attempting to throw down his wife. However, the circumstances surrounding the incident remain unclear. The two children were reportedly rushed to a hospital for medical attention. As of the time of filing this report, Magic FM Aba could not independently confirm their condition or whether they survived the fall. The man, who sustained an injury to the head, was still lying in front of his house and had yet to receive assistance as of the time of this report.  Visitor dies after entering restricted area of Kilauea Volcano in Hawaii National Park  

   

A 33-year-old Hawaii resident has died after entering a restricted area near the Kilauea volcano within Hawaiʻi Volcanoes National Park. The National Park Service said the incident occurred on Feb. 26 on the east side of Kilauea caldera, an area closed to the public due to unstable terrain and extreme hazards.

Search and rescue crews worked overnight in steep, dangerous conditions before locating the individual the following day. He was airlifted from the area but was pronounced dead at a nearby medical facility. Officials are withholding the person’s identity for privacy reasons. The Kilauea caldera features unstable cliffs and volcanic features, particularly near the HalemaÊ»umaÊ»u crater rim, and closures are in place to protect visitors from landslides, cracks, and tremors. The volcano last erupted on Feb. 15, 2026, and future activity is expected between March 10 and 16, though that window may change. Authorities continue to investigate the incident and urge visitors to remain in open, designated areas.
